Viewing the Eiffel was a good start to 2010.  We even considered the chilly prospect of joining the lengthy queues to get a better view of Paris before we thought better of it.

We’ve just returned from a week in La Clusaz, in the Aravis region near Annecy.

Mostly the weather and snow was like this:

And of course the kids had a great time: both graduating from Marmottons Ski School. They are now competent snowploughers. Jex can make it down from Crêt du Loup unaided, which is no mean feat.

After an epic drive back across Europe we’re frantically repacking all our backs to dash to the airport this afternoon.

Next stop, balmy Mumbai!
